Centauro

Long term leasing platform live in record time

Sector: Automotive / Vehicle Leasing / Mobility.

Challenge: Create a long-term leasing platform for a second-hand fleet, introducing a new business model within an established traditional leasing company.

Solution: Frontend with vehicle catalog, internal management dashboard, proprietary API, and a digital onboarding process covering data collection, documentation, and contract signing.

Outcome: Product live in production within one month, supported by prior experience in similar projects and with a manual scoring process integrated into the flow.

Background and challenge

Centauro is an established company in traditional vehicle leasing.

The company identified a clear opportunity: turning its second-hand car fleet into the foundation of a new digital product focused on long-term leasing.

This was not a short-term rental model. It involved one- or two-year contracts, defined mileage allowances, and monthly payments.

The opportunity had already been identified. What Centauro needed was to bring it into the digital world quickly and without friction, both for the end user and for its internal team.

The solution

Frontend with vehicle catalog

This is the user’s entry point.

It is a site where Centauro can display its available fleet, the conditions for each vehicle, and the contracting options in a clear, direct, and conversion-focused way.

Internal management dashboard

The dashboard is the tool through which the Centauro team manages applications, reviews documentation submitted by each customer, and makes scoring decisions.

In this case, scoring is manual rather than automated, so it was critical to design an agile internal flow that avoided bottlenecks.

Proprietary API

The proprietary API connects the frontend with the dashboard and gives the entire system coherence.

It enables data to flow in a structured way from the moment a user initiates a request through to contract signature.

User Journey

The end-user process includes personal data collection, document submission, and digital contract signature.

Everything is delivered through a guided flow designed so that someone without technical knowledge can complete it without assistance.

Outcomes

The delivery timeframe was one month.

This was possible, among other reasons, because Bonzzay had already worked on projects with similar logic: digital onboarding, document collection, signing processes, and internal management flows.

It was not the same product, but prior experience allowed decisions to be made quickly and with confidence.

Centauro now has a proprietary digital channel for a product that did not previously exist within its business, with the capacity to manage it internally and scale it as demand grows.
